From foundation to furnished

Model Homes
and Model Units

Developers across Greater Boston trust Red Door to bring their model properties to life. We understand what moves buyers — and we apply nearly two decades of experience in living environments to every decision, from the hardware on the cabinets to the art on the walls.

We work collaboratively from the earliest stages of a project, and we dovetail seamlessly mid-process when teams and plans are already in motion. Either way, you get the same result: a model that sells the vision.

What Our Clients Have Seen

Model units staged by Red Door have helped developers lease properties faster, command stronger per-unit pricing, and present their projects with the design credibility that today's buyers expect. We don't just furnish a room — we sell a lifestyle that makes a buyer say yes.

We're proud to have worked with some of Greater Boston's most respected developers:

DiBiase Companies · Compass · Primary Development · Cedar Hill Residential · Maloney Properties · Catamount Builders · OnPoint Companies · A1 RE Solutions · Cruz Management · Alfon Properties · MetroWest Collaborative Development Corp · Tim Long & Associates · Brown Dog Properties

How We Work with You

Every project is different, and we adapt to meet your needs. Some clients bring us in before the foundation is poured. Others call us six weeks before opening day. We've learned to be very good at both.

A typical engagement looks like this:

  1. Initial consultation. We walk the space — or review plans — and discuss the buyer or renter profile, the neighborhood, the price point, and your timeline.

  2. Finish selection. For projects in earlier stages, we work alongside your team to specify countertops, lighting, hardware, finishes, and more — making sure every material decision supports the overall vision.

  3. Furnishing plan. We develop a complete staging proposal to support your strategic marketing goals. If your designer has a vision in mind, we can collaborate to deliver your aesthetic.

  4. Installation. We coordinate with your construction schedule and install when the space is ready. We work efficiently and we leave the property clean.

  5. Rental or purchase. We offer flexible arrangements — rentals from one month to one year, or outright purchase if you’d like to retain or sell furnishings to buyers.
